Description:You will be the Production Control Manager - Level 5 for the Production Control team which is responsible for overseeing all day‑to‑day production control activities at the Pinellas Park, FL location.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Control Manager - Level 5 you will be responsible for leading the Production Control organization, managing both salaried and hourly staff, and ensuring efficient shop‑floor, replenishment, and logistical operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage supervisors and associates for shipping, receiving, stocking, kitting, and inventory tracking.
- Oversee material requirements from suppliers and external processors to ensure a controlled, on‑time flow of approved materials.
- Control floor work‑in‑process (WIP) and schedule execution.
- Monitor key performance indicators for shop‑floor control activities and parts‑movement planning.
- Identify and implement safety, process‑improvement, and 6S opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:-Experience with Production/Production Control Processes and Procedures
-Experience with an ERP System
-Experience with cost, schedule and technical data
-Inventory Management Experience
-Previous Leadership Experience with salaried and hourly employees
-Experience leading continuous improvement projects
Desired Skills:-Able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict
-Able to manage multiple priorities, drive lean/continuous improvement initiatives and deliver results
-Experience reporting results to various levels of leadership
-Strong focus on customer requirements and business acumen

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
