What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer Principal - Level 6 you will be responsible for leading Earned Value Management and Control Account activities across the F‑35 production and sustainment engineering portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and ensure contract performance aligns with program goals.
- Conduct variance analysis, estimate‑to‑complete updates, and provide cost and schedule metric reviews.
- Facilitate risk and opportunity reviews, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members in earned value management, staffing, and contract performance best practices.
- Coordinate financial business rhythms and support the LoBE production and sustainment operations team.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering.
•Program management, project engineering, project management or similar experience.
•Experience managing program budgets and performance as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) Manager.
• Ability to acquire Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:• Control Account Manager (CAM) experience in both labor and material accounts.
• Experience developing and managing project/program schedules using Microsoft project, open plan or similar tools.
• Experience with F-35 systems, dashboards, and tools (PDM, JDL, LDM, APTS, Tableau, confluence, SharePoint, VEMO, etc).
• Experience with contract management: scope, budget, risk, schedule, and Earned Value Management System (EMVS) principles.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
