About The Role
As a Debt Analyst at CBRE, you will support the execution ofcommercial real estate debt and structured finance transactions from initialanalysis through closing. In this role, you will help prepare financialanalyses, market research, loan submission packages, debt offering memorandums,and other transaction materials used to support financing and refinancingassignments.
This role is part of CBRE’s Debt Advisory & StructuredFinance function, which advises clients on debt, financing, and refinancingoptions for the development, acquisition, funding, or recapitalization ofcommercial real estate assets. The Analyst will work closely with CapitalMarkets professionals in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment, withexposure to commercial and multifamily real estate finance.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze financial statements, operating data, market research, and property-level information to support commercial real estate financing assignments.
- Prepare debt offering memorandums, loan submission packages, summary reports, and other transaction materials for internal review and external distribution.
- Build and maintain financial models for commercial and multifamily real estate transactions, including analysis of property performance, financing assumptions, and investment metrics.
- Support the preparation of client-facing presentations, lender materials, reports, and management summaries.
- Research commercial mortgage finance trends, capital markets activity, lender appetite, market fundamentals, and comparable transactions.
- Assist with due diligence coordination and support transaction execution from marketing through closing.
- Track transaction information, organize documentation, and help ensure data accuracy throughout the process.
- Work within established procedures and best practices to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work product.
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and confirm understanding to support efficient deal execution.

- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, real estate, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, real estate finance, capital markets, mortgage banking, investment analysis, underwriting, valuation, or a related analytical role.
- Working knowledge of fundamental real estate finance concepts, including market analysis, investment analysis, valuation, loan metrics, and transaction underwriting.
- Experience with financial analysis and financial modeling; commercial and/or multifamily real estate modeling experience preferred.
- In-depth proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze information, apply standard practices, and use sound judgment to solve routine problems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and financial-related calculations.
- Real estate sales license preferred.
- Knowledge of ARGUS preferred.
