We are seeking an experienced and independent immunologist to support our target identification efforts for T cell engager and antibody-drug candidates portfolio. The successful candidate will support the Discovery Biology Team within the Oncology Thematic Research Center at Client in Seattle, WA. This position will also support groups based in Cambridge, MA and potentially other locations remotely. The qualified candidate will review, organize and summarize existing internal and external data on potential cell surface therapeutic targets for immuno-oncology and oncology to help drive the next generation of our portfolio. The scientist will work with informatics teams and help provide a vision and design for a database portal to consolidate target information from multiple sources. They will work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment involving multiple teams across the company.
In the role of Scientist within Discovery Biology the ideal candidate will:
- Apply knowledge of immunology and oncology to collate and summarize relevant sources of information, both internal and external, to build a database portal for therapeutic surface antigen targets
- Collaborate with multiple functional groups to help define key data, information, and parameters to capture in the project output
- Work with complex data sets including RNAseq, scRNAseq, IHC data interpretation and proteomics
- Work with data scientists to implement AI/LLM tools
- Present project progression at regular intervals to key stakeholders
- Utilize excellent organizational and communication skills to achieve progress in a timely manner
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor?s Degree
- 8 years of academic and / or industry experience

- Master?s Degree
- 6 years of academic and / or industry experience
Or
- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in the Life Sciences
- 4 years of academic and / or industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in the Life Sciences.
- 4 years of academic and / or industry experience.
- Deep knowledge of immuno-oncology and oncology and the drug discovery process is strongly preferred.
- Experience with cell surface targeting drug discovery and target identification / validation is an advantage.
- Experience with the interpretation of RNAseq, scRNAseq, IHC data and proteomics.
- Experience in industry is an advantage.
- Developing leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstration of hypothesis-driven, in-depth, innovative thinking and experimentation.
- Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple lines of work and coordination of collaborative work.
- Ability to summarize and interpret complex scientific data in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate well with peers, supervisors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of complex scientific principles.
