We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Functional Consultant to join our team at Oracle. In this role, you will be a recognized authority, providing innovative solution leadership and guiding project teams. Your expertise in Oracle Cloud and accounting processes will be instrumental in ensuring our solutions meet customer objectives. With a focus on General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Hub Cloud, you will lead and analyze business needs, offering industry-standard processes and product knowledge. Internal Responsibilities

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this consulting position:

Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team.
Owns the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints.
Leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment
Exercises judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations.
Self-starter that provides direction and mentoring to project teams and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.
Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience relevant to this position including 5 years of functional consulting experience
Prior team leadership or management experience preferred
Business process experience in the following areas:
- Oracle Cloud: 4-5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting Studio, Smartview, Subledger Accounting, Accounting Hub Cloud.
- 5-10 years/solid overall Record to Report process implementation experience.
- Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops.
- Ability to manage complex data conversion cycles and explain best practices in migrating historical account balances.
Holds a BS in Accounting or a related field OR equivalent experience
CPA is a plus
Product or technical expertise relevant to the practice focus
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to travel up to 30%, when required
