Overview
The Carry-On Compliance Agent is responsible for enforcing the airline’s 1+1 carry-on baggage policy and identifying oversized luggage at designated checkpoint areas. This role ensures passengers comply with carry-on regulations before entering the boarding area, while maintaining excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Enforce the airline’s 1+1 carry-on baggage policy consistently and professionally.
- Identify oversized or excess carry-on items.
- Direct non-compliant passengers to the JetBlue ticket counter for baggage resolution.
- Monitor and manage the designated compliance area to maintain orderly passenger flow.
- Provide clear instructions and courteous assistance to passengers regarding baggage policies.
- Communicate effectively with airline personnel and airport staff regarding operational concerns.
- Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced airport environment.
- Report issues, incidents, or customer concerns to supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume passenger interactions.
- Prior airport, airline, security, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy airport environment.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment:
- Airport terminal environment.
- High passenger traffic and continuous public interaction.
- Standing and walking for extended periods may be required.
