What you will enjoy doing*
- You will operate and monitor acetylene generation and processing equipment to emsure safe and efficent performance
- This role involves performing acetylene cylinder filling tasks, including inspections, calculations, labeling, handling, and maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed with accuracy in full compliance with applicable regulatory and safety requirements
- You will troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct minor repairs, and perform routine equipment inspections
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of process machinery and elated equipment
- This role requires conducting pre-fill and post-fill inspections of cylinders to ensure safe transport andend-use compliance
- Regularly inspect, maintain and verifiy proper function of filling equipment and monitoring devices
- Complete and maintain cylinder filling records in accordance with established standards and regulations
What Makes You Great
- You possess an Associate's Degree in a technical field, preferably Chemistry
- Preferred experience in laboratory or Operations roles within a production plant environmentparticularly in quality assurance functions
- You have experience with formal analytical validation programs and familiarity with hazardous materials
- Hands-on experience in gas chromatography (GC) maintenance, method repair, development, and troubleshooting of GC/gas systems
- Equivalent experience in specialty or electronic gas production-- at the level of Process
- Technician I or higher -- may be accepted in lieu of direct analytical experience
- Familiarity with analytical operations using GC, FTIR, and process analyzers for liquefied or high-pressure gas products
- You possess the ability to support production and quality goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- You have experience with statistical methods like SPC/SQC and Measurement Systems Analysis techniques

Pay Range: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shift Differiental: $1.00 per hour 2nd Shift
