Collins Aerospace is seeking an Out of Production (OOP) Project Manager at our Aerostructures headquarters in Chula Vista, CA. This position will support aftermarket needs for legacy and out‑of‑production products. The OOP Project Manager focuses on coordinating and executing aftermarket support activities within a highly cross‑functional environment to ensure the sustained success of OOP programs.
This position is for Project Manager to support nacelle product on Out of Production (OOP) platforms in Aftermarket Technical Services (AMTS). Additionally, they will work closely with aftermarket engineering, product support, quality, contracts, supply chain, MRO operations, to resolve in‑service issues and maintain long‑term product support. The role requires agility, creative problem‑solving, and the ability to navigate challenges such as fleet issue containment, obsolescence, and supplier performance.
The ideal candidate brings strong customer support capabilities, practical project execution experience, and the ability to coordinate tasks and deliverables across multiple functional teams without formal program ownership.
This position works in a primarily onsite capacity.

What You Will Do: *

Execute and coordinate OOP support activities across spares, MRO, technical support
-
Work cross‑functionally to resolve in‑service technical issues, address obsolescence, and support fleet containment actions

Track and manage assigned tasks, deliverables, risk items, and issue closure with contributing functions

Support communication with customers and suppliers regarding OOP technical issues and continuity of supply
-
Collaborate with engineering and aftermarket teams to ensure continuity of support for legacy products
-
Identify barriers and help drive cross‑functional resolution using existing processes and resources
-
Works with peers in product support and engineering, along with coordination in a matrix organization across operational functions
-
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally, when required
Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Experience leading projects (formal/ informal)

Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and emotional intelligence skills into order to work successfully in a cross functional, multi matrix organization > was in must have moved here

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
