Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Procure to Pay (PTP) Analyst to join the Accounts Payable Banking & Controls Team. PTP Accounts Payable is situated within the Global Financial Services (GFS) organization, which provides core finance services to all areas of Lockheed Martin in the United States and around the world.
Key responsibilities include:
• Work directly with internal customers to resolve AP-related issues and identify technical and reporting solutions.
• Support Corporate, Internal, and External audit activities.
• Continuously improve processes, strengthen system and process controls, and provide analysis and support to Finance and Business Operations teams.
• Prepare a variety of journal entries to support accurate accounting throughout the month and during month-end close.
• Support operational and reporting activities associated with month-end close processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to document, stabilize, and transition processes into the GFS PTP Shared Services environment.
In GFS, analysts are expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with our internal customers by delivering critical services with a high degree of accuracy on a daily basis. As an Analyst, you will work independently to research and resolve issues across a broad range of technical and financial topics. You must be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, placing the mission and the team objectives first while meeting tight deadlines.

Occasional weekend or scheduled day-off support may be required during peak periods, including month-end and year-end close activities. Analysts must be comfortable adapting to new technology in a constantly evolving and complex financial environment.
While GFS generally operates on a four-day workweek schedule, this role requires limited support for several hours on month-end Fridays to complete close-related activities.
