Material Handler/Expeditor is expected to work closely with teammates to coordinate support of material movement throughout campus and communicate with internal customers and stakeholders. At RTX, safety is the foundation of our Logistics operations. Must have a strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols. As such, the material handler/ expeditor must remain in strict compliance with department and company safety requirements.
1st Shift: 7:30am- 5:00pm – Richardson, TX. This is an onsite position.
What You Will Do
-
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, dollies, carts and other manual/electric lift equipment

Utilize scanners and other handheld scanning devices

Utilize company computer to take company offered online training
-
Navigate online material movement systems to monitor work queues and receive work directions

Communicate with customers and internal teammates including logistics dispatcher via phone and/or email

receive and transport United States Postal Service (USPS) mail in support of on-site Raytheon personnel and programs.
Qualifications You Must Have

High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).

Must have valid Driver’s license to drive around site
Qualifications We Prefer

Valid and active PIT (Power Industrial Truck) License

Ability to lift 25 pounds

Ability to push or pull up to 40lbs

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
