As a Quality Inspector at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for completing the in process and final inspection of electronic & electro mechanical assemblies.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Position is responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering documents, work instructions, customer specifications and industry standards.
- Verify conformance and write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
- Verify rework/repair has been completed in accordance with specified requirements.
- Report inspections and move product in the proper system.
- Stamp/sign off on inspection steps upon completion, approving and releasing the product for shipment.
- Interface with production and engineering on production and product problems.
- Assist production by providing explanations and/or instructions on quality issues and production issues.
- Work closely with quality engineering and manufacturing engineering to improve the process and design for manufacturability.
- Spot audit in the production area to ensure that the proper instructions are being followed and to provide feedback to management to improve the process/system.
- Work closely with engineering on engineering builds and prototypes to point out potential production, quality and reliability problems.
- Assist management with implementing process controls, improvement activities, writing work instruction and inspection instructions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of IPC-A-610.
- Proficient ability to utilize a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite software package.
- Ability to read prints.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate effective written and spoken communications skills.
- ISO9001 and AS9100 training, preferred.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools/gauges.
- Must be able to use microscope.
