Description of Duties:
The Model Based Systems Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Drive culture and adoption of MBSE and Digital Engineering (DE) throughout the organization by promoting the use of MBSE/DE and providing training and support to the teams.
- Develop standard work and business operating procedures.
- Create formal processes for applying MBSE and DE within the program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by working closely with various engineering disciplines and departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated system design and digital environment.
- Communicate complex engineering technical information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines.
- Support Enterprise SEs to incorporate Model-based Systems Engineering practices and peer review SE program guidance.

Basic Requirements:
- Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
- May be reduced with completion of advanced education
- Must have 5, or more, years of directly related systems engineering (or relevant experience)
- Must have 6, or more, months of experience working in a management or leadership role
- Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT or any STEM related field
- Have knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF)
- Have knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SySML, UML)
- Have experience using model-based SE tools (DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)

Compensation Details:
$130,000 – $145,000
