Program Manager (Contract)

Summary:
This is a high-impact opportunity to serve as a central driver of carbon and waste reduction initiatives within a large-scale, cross-functional sustainability organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep program management expertise and a passion for sustainability to help govern, report on, and align key initiatives across sourcing, engineering, and logistics teams. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, this individual will develop and maintain performance metrics, coordinate action plans, and deliver meaningful analytics that accelerate progress toward ambitious sustainability commitments. This role demands a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into executive-ready insights while fostering collaboration across diverse teams and driving continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and track performance metrics for sustainability programs, including carbon and waste impact as well as financial tracking

Manage key results and highlights updates across sustainability stakeholders spanning supply chain, logistics, and engineering teams

Provide progress updates and analytics for sustainability programs to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Coordinate action plans with project owners to drive accountability and on-time execution

Track progress and status for sustainability projects across multiple workstreams

Engage with stakeholders from various teams to ensure alignment and effective communication

Support process standardization and reporting to enable scalable, consistent program execution

Develop performance metrics tools and processes to improve visibility and decision-making
Requirements:
-
8 to 10 years of overall experience in program management, operations, or engineering

Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
-
Proven track record of developing and maintaining performance metrics and reporting frameworks

Experience working within or in support of supply chain and/or sustainability organizations

History of sustained tenure in roles, demonstrating commitment and depth of contribution
-
Master's degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 4 or more years of experience in project management, operations, or engineering

OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 6 or more years of experience in project management, operations, or engineering

OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Minimum 8 years of experience with MS Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting

Minimum 8 years of experience presenting insights and recommendations to executives and cross-functional stakeholders

Minimum 8 years of program management experience, preferably supporting supply chain and/or sustainability teams

5 or more years of experience with agile methodology

Strong communication, teamwork, and influencing skills with the ability to work across organizational boundaries

Executive-level presentation skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives
-
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement

Experience working with AI productivity tools and developing productivity solutions

Experience managing sustainability projects with measurable impact

Supply chain experience with an understanding of Scope 3 emissions and circular design principles

Pay Range*: $62 - $70.50 per hour
