Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri.
The MQ-25 Program is an innovative and highly visible effort supporting the future of naval aviation. Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
- Works cross functionally and with suppliers on payment issue resolution. Also collaborates with Quality department on defective or unacceptable goods and determines appropriate course of action. Complete actions as necessary to resolve issues.
- Production and spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.
- Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customers’ requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Experience working both independently and in team environments.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience interfacing with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals.
- Experience working directly with suppliers and supplier management.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $69,700 - $86,100
