Administrative Assistant (Contract)

Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join our team in a dynamic administrative support role. This position plays a critical part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all levels of management by handling a wide range of complex administrative and operational responsibilities. From coordinating engaging team events to managing vendor relationships and tracking budgets, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization while serving as a trusted point of contact for the department.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of complex administrative functions in support of all levels of management
- Organize team morale events, offsites, and engagement activities
- Coordinate office space management and on-site logistics
- Manage catering and event-related vendor coordination
- Assist with and support team projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Track budgets, expenses, and purchase requests
- Perform core administrative and operational tasks with discretion and accuracy
- Manage procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, and reference materials
- Provide general office support and serve as the primary department and group contact
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in event planning and execution, including team events, offsites, and leadership meetings
- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience working within a professional administrative or operational support environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Customer service orientation with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Budget tracking and expense management capabilities
- Vendor coordination and relationship management
Additional Details
- Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
- Duration: 7 months
- Pay Range*: $27.50 - $31 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
