Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated quality engineering professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions across a broad range of platforms and technologies, including APIs, microservices, and user interfaces. You will play a critical role in advancing our AI-enhanced engineering pipeline, contributing to enterprise-level test automation frameworks, and ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver automated API and UI testing using Java with WebDriver and TestNG, as well as services testing using Groovy scripting with JMeter, SoapUI, and ReadyAPI
- Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools
- Perform Microservice and REST API testing and automation, leveraging Swagger documentation for API validations
- Conduct Kafka topic and consumer validations
- Apply AI-enabled quality engineering techniques to support debugging, test case generation, and risk analysis to help advance the AI-enhanced engineering pipeline
- Perform Messaging and IVR testing as required
- Contribute to Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks as needed
- Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work
- Document, communicate, and escalate test results and defects in a timely and clear manner
- Apply Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Stash for continuous integration and version control of automation artifacts
- Build and deploy CI systems and automation pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Bamboo
- Coordinate activities between US and remote testing teams as needed
- Utilize Selenium Grid for parallel execution of test cases across multiple browsers
- Develop Feature Files using Gherkin language for Behavior-Driven Development
- Leverage knowledge of No-SQL databases such as Couchbase and performance testing tools for API performance validation
- Apply critical thinking to translate complex application flows into comprehensive test cases
Skills
- Strong experience with test automation using Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools including JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, and Postman
- Hands-on coding ability in Java, JavaScript, and SQL for full solution stack automation covering UI, application layer, REST API, and web services
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, Stash, and Bamboo for project management and defect tracking
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting for use with JMeter, SoapUI, and ReadyAPI
- Experience with REST and JSON APIs
- Knowledge of cloud-based web application architecture with emphasis on AWS Cloud
- Familiarity with Extent Reports, Eclipse IDE, and Java for developing automation scripts
- Understanding of concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures
- Knowledge of No-SQL databases such as Couchbase and performance testing tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter
- Front-end UI experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach
- Knowledge of deployment technologies and CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins and Docker
Requirements
- Proven experience in test automation development using industry-standard frameworks and tools
- Verifiable experience in building and deploying CI systems such as Jenkins and Bamboo
- Demonstrated experience with Kafka topics and consumer validations
- Experience with Swagger documentation for API validations
- Experience coordinating testing activities across distributed or remote teams
- Experience with Selenium Grid for parallel test execution across multiple browsers
- Background in Messaging and IVR testing
- Relevant certifications in software testing, quality assurance, or cloud technologies are a plus
