Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated quality engineering professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions across a broad range of platforms and technologies, including APIs, microservices, and user interfaces. You will play a critical role in advancing our AI-enhanced engineering pipeline, contributing to enterprise-level test automation frameworks, and ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver automated API and UI testing using Java with WebDriver and TestNG, as well as services testing using Groovy scripting with JMeter, SoapUI, and ReadyAPI
- Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools
- Perform Microservice and REST API testing and automation, leveraging Swagger documentation for API validations
- Conduct Kafka topic and consumer validations
- Apply AI-enabled quality engineering techniques to support debugging, test case generation, and risk analysis to help advance the AI-enhanced engineering pipeline
- Utilize Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Stash for continuous integration and version control of automation artifacts
- Build and deploy CI automation pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Leverage Selenium Grid for parallel execution of test cases across multiple browsers
- Develop feature files using Gherkin language for Behavior-Driven Development
- Contribute to Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks as needed
- Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work
- Document, communicate, and escalate test results and defects in a timely manner
- Perform Messaging and IVR testing as required
- Coordinate activities between US and remote testing teams as needed
- Apply critical thinking to translate complex application flows into comprehensive test cases
- Conduct performance testing of APIs using NoSQL databases and performance testing tools
Skills
- Strong experience with test automation using Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured
- Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, and Postman
- Hands-on coding ability in Java, JavaScript, and SQL for full solution stack automation, including UI, application layer, REST API, and web services
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, Stash, and Bamboo for project management and defect tracking
- Proficiency with Groovy scripting for use with JMeter, SoapUI, and ReadyAPI
- Experience with Kafka topics and consumer validations
- Knowledge of cloud-based web application architecture with emphasis on AWS Cloud
- Experience using Selenium Grid for parallel test execution across multiple browsers
- Knowledge of Extent Reports 2.0 and Eclipse IDE for developing automation scripts
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Couchbase, and performance testing tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter
- Detailed understanding of concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures
- Front-end UI knowledge including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach
- Knowledge of deployment technologies and CI/CD systems including Jenkins and Docker
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years experience building and deploying CI systems such as Jenkins and Bamboo
- 5+ years experience in test automation development using established frameworks and tools
- 5+ years experience with REST and JSON APIs
- 2+ years experience with messaging/IVR testing
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus
