This SkillBridge opportunity is with BBN Technologies
RTX is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this fellowship, you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.
To be eligible for a SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements:

Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces

Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29.

Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
What You Will Do:
Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to:

Research, develop, and implement novel algorithms for solving customer challenges related to Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
-
Develop software systems to train and test ASR systems
-
Build new ASR models for customer data and domain
-
Interface with DoD clients supporting ASR research systems
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Must be eligible to participate in DoW SkillBridge
-
Active DoD TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance
-
Typically requires a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline and 8 years of experience or MS grad with degree and 5 years of experience.

Python Programming

Experience with the Linux command line

Machine Learning

Empirical Research Experience
Qualifications We Prefer:

Bash Programming

Hands on Experience with Speech Recognition technologies

Experience with ESPnet
