KBR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems across commercial and industrial programs. This role focuses on delivering robust, scalable, and cost-effective electrical solutions for product development, manufacturing, and operational environments. The role includes responsibility for cable and wiring harness design, development, and integration.

Work Environment:
Location: On-site R&D Lab, (*No Telework/hybrid arrangements available)
Work hours: 0600-1430, with some overtime, based on mission needs
Travel Requirements: 5-10%
Working Hours: Standard
Basic Compensation:
$150,00 - $190,000 USD annually
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical design efforts from concept through final production.
Proficiency with electrical design tools. (KiCAD, OrCAD)
Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and architecture documentation
Research, design, and evaluate electrical systems to meet operational and performance requirements.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures
Design and develop cable assemblies and wiring harnesses, including routing, shielding, and connector selection
Define harness requirements including signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and environmental constraints
Support program schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation
Participate in design reviews and support production and integration activities.
Work closely with a small team to execute fast paced, short timeline projects, both individually and as a team.
Required Qualifications:
Active/Current DoD Secret clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
A minimum of 8 years of experience performing electrical design on complex systems.
Proficiency with electrical design tools. (OrCAD)
Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Space Flight hardware.
Strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle from concept to production.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience with Solidworks 3D CAD and CAM tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
