Mechanical Engineering Intern
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineering Intern to support daily operations including project work and development activities. This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of mechanical engineering and product development providing exposure to real-world engineering challenges and solutions.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of equipment drawings and supplier documentation review
- Support departmental innovation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and other department initiatives
- Document technical work, findings, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with, or coursework in, programming and software development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of engineering software tools is preferred
Special Requirements
- This is a hybrid position
- Requires on-site presence a minimum of three (3) days per week
- Additional in-office days may be required based on project needs or team coordination
