Specialist, Engagement Operations Coordinator, Patient Engagement
Role Summary
The Specialist, Engagement Operations Coordinator, Patient Insights & Engagement (PI&E), position resides in the Value & Implementation (V&I) organization, which includes Global Medical and Scientific Affairs as well as Outcomes Research.
This position is a member of the Patient Insights & Engagement (PI&E) team and supports initiatives that advance PI&E deliverables, strategies and priorities. This position supports the PI&E team in coordinating day-to-day operational activities that help advance patient engagement priorities, stakeholder interactions, and internal execution. Under the direction of the PI&E lead, the Engagement Coordinator supports patient engagement activities, meeting coordination, tracking, reporting metrics, contracting, stakeholder follow-up, and other administrative execution activities associated with patient engagement initiatives.
- The role helps ensure timely, organized, and compliant management of activities that support execution of patient and advocacy engagements, generation and reporting of insights from these engagements, coordination with internal cross-functional partners and other internal and external stakeholders, and relationships with Patient Advocacy Organizations (PAOs).
Responsibilities And Primary Activities
- Supports the team with day-to-day coordination of activities, including scheduling, logistics, follow-up, and administrative support.
- Assists with the end-to-end execution of patient engagement projects and initiatives; tracks deliverables, timelines, and status updates.
- Maintains trackers, dashboards, and working documents to support visibility into team activities, milestones, and outcomes.
- Coordinates with internal partners such as Legal, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to support appropriate review and guidance on activities.
- Helps ensure that processes, documentation, and materials are maintained in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
- Assists with vendor coordination, document routing, and administrative follow-up as needed.
- Supports compliance-related documentation, file maintenance, and issue tracking
- Assists with planning and coordinating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including preparing agendas, materials, slides, notes, meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up tracking. Assists with adding insights into X-fly.

- Assists with independent grant processing, review, tracking and reconciliation of activities as needed.
- Helps manage multiple priorities and supports the team in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality execution.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders in a manner that is responsive, organized, and respectful.
- Applies sound judgment when handling routine questions and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Supports initiatives aimed at enhancing patient engagement, patient communication, and the inclusion of patient perspectives in company activities.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Experience
Minimum
- BA/BS Degree.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, patient advocacy, or related project coordination/administrative support roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
- Ability to work in a cross-functional work in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and trackers.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of compliance, confidentiality, and documentation requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Two or more years of relevant Patient advocacy, engagement or stakeholder coordination activities.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Degree in science, business, health care, or related field.
- Experience in grant operations, project coordination, or administrative operations in a regulated environment. #EBRG's #VetJobs

The salary range for this role is
$96,200.00 - $151,400.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
