Description:You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) team. Our team is responsible for designing, integrating, and ensuring seamless operation of test systems that support critical missile and sensor programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer Sr you will be responsible for architecting, coding, and validating ATE software solutions.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain ATE software applications using TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and custom C/C++ code.
- Integrate test‑system hardware, software, and devices under test (DUT) and perform verification and validation.
- Design and execute Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and functional testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot and improve test‑system performance, providing technical support to cross‑functional teams.
- Document designs, test plans, and results to ensure compliance with program requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:• Demonstrated experience using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Experience writing or supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE) software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM degree and proven professional experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:• Experience designing or supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware.
• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment.
• Experience creating Software to interface to standard hardware interfaces, including Ethernet, SPI, UART, PCIE, MIL-STD-1553.
• System-level troubleshooting experience.
• Previous experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java.
• Experience with Scripting languages such as TCL.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
