Act as the primary point of accountability to the CIPT for all program requirements, driving seamless communication, risk management, and part-level ownership.

Lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) through successful technical and program milestones, ensuring the proactive management and closure of critical technical risks.

Oversee IPT financial allocations and project timelines to ensure absolute alignment with strict program delivery requirements.

Direct and monitor IPT technical and business metrics, ensuring team outputs consistently meet or exceed established standards.

Present to and collaborate with Customers, Senior Management, the System Integrated Product Team (SIPT), and the Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT).

Provide technical support for validation engine build and engine test activities.
-
Provide critical technical support for validation engine builds and testing activities, including leading Nacelle Air Leakage Checks directly with the customer.

Travel up to 15% (Domestic and International).

Qualifications You Must Have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes project management and technical engineering.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Basic understanding of Pratt & Whitney’s Leadership Operating Model (LOM) or similar.

Background in aircraft structures, propulsion systems, or engine components, with experience in engine validation testing (like air leakage or pressure testing).

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving projects through formal aerospace milestones (e.g., PDR/CDR) without needing direct managerial authority.

Experience managing project schedules, tracking engineering metrics, and keeping team budgets aligned with program requirements. PMP certification.

Confidence presenting complex technical data and risk mitigation plans directly to senior management and aerospace customers.

Proven track record of mentoring and providing strategic technical guidance to junior engineers to elevate team performance and accelerate skill development.

Department/Segment Overview:
Mechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN): The MSEN Engineering organization is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. Technical disciplines include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, System Modeling, Mechanical Design analysis for bearings, gears, and seals, and fluid-thermal modeling of associated components and systems.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
