Overview
The Handyman supports a national strategic account by providing skilled maintenance and repair services across multiple commercial sites. This role combines hands-on technical work with operational oversight—ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with client expectations. The Handyman also contributes to labor tracking, billing support, and continuous improvement initiatives across the fulfillment center portfolio.
Pay: $26 - $32 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Facility Maintenance & Repairs
· Perform general repairs: drywall, painting, doors, locks, ceiling tiles, flooring, fixtures
· Service restrooms by replacing lighting, fixtures, dispensers and unclogging drains
· Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting (non-licensed scope)
· Assemble furniture, install signage, and support workspace reconfigurations/refresh
· Operate, pressure washer, carpet extractors, lifts, ladders and floor cleaning equipment
· Employ provided power/hand tools, shop tools and Power Industrial Equipment
· Safely drive to/from work locations and maintain Company provided Vehicle
· Repair, replace lighting fixtures, signage, inspection cameras, and powered drain snake
· Complete minor cleaning tasks and ensure site readiness and positive customer experience
Labor Tracking & Billing Support
• Verify hours used for individual projects with before and after pictures
• Inventory, manage, and maintain consumable inventory according to established PAR levels
• Provide project quotes to include detailed labor hours and consumable supplies
Client Service & Operational Standards
• Respond to service tickets and client requests promptly and professionally
• Audit sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Support visual controls and standard work practices across all locations
• Maintain documentation and training materials for consistent service delivery
• Receive for training and certifications aligned with OSHA and client related safety standards
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Partner with operations analysts to act on daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
• Recommend and deploy cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in commercial handyman or building maintenance roles
• Strong proficiency in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical basics
• Ability to work independently lead small teams when needed
• Comfortable working across office, client site, and mobile environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital work order systems
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and safety best practices
• Must be able to speak, read, write English proficiently and professionally.
