Overview
The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during business hours. This role focuses on high-traffic areas, responding to immediate cleaning needs, and ensuring restrooms, common spaces, and entryways remain presentable throughout the day.
Rate: $16.00
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Location: 1700 S. Pavillion, Summerlin

Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the day
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Monitor restrooms and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
• Clean spills, fingerprints, smudges, and debris as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings
• Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events as requested
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisor
• Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff and visitors
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
