As Managing Director of Sales for the U.S. and Canada, you will lead the development of strategic commercial initiatives across a portfolio of hotels to increase revenue, profitability, and market share. You will have a management role of leading the Regional Director of Sales team for US/Canada. You will be an important liaison between regional leadership, Operations leadership, ownership groups, and commercial teams, aligning priorities and activating enterprise resources. You will guide sales, marketing, and revenue management efforts, oversee strategic planning and reporting, and ensure the successful implementation of revenue-generating programs. Additionally, you will foster a selling culture, support talent development, analyze market trends, and collaborate with partners to deliver sustainable business results.
What You'll Do During a Typical Day
- You will spend your day analyzing performance, identifying opportunities to strengthen revenue outcomes, and working towards outcomes across the hotel portfolio. This includes reviewing market trends and performance data, developing actionable plans, and communicating clear direction to achieve results.
- You will balance both hands-on execution and team leadership —leading projects, preparing presentations, and ensuring initiatives stay on track.
- You will incorporate work from home, frequent travel to properties and industry events to support the team.

- You will work with multiple partners, including regional leaders, sales teams, general managers, owners, and commercial partners, to agree on goals and lead coordinated action. Your success requires enabling you to translate strategy into clear expectations, provide clear progress updates and constructive feedback, and build trust across diverse teams.
- You will also mentor and support team members while fostering collaboration to deliver shared business objectives.
Projects You'll Take Ownership Of
- You will take ownership of delivering revenue growth and market share for the US/Canada region. Achieving business objectives through planning, execution, and performance management of the Regional Management Team.
- You will accomplish measurable outcomes, solving problems, and improving processes while maintaining long-term performance.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Seven (7) years of experience in the Hospitality Management, Sales or Revenue Management field
- Three (3) years of previous operation/sales leadership experience
- Multi-unit management experience
- Travel up to 65% of the time
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience working in a global environment with multicultural teams
- On Property - In Hotel Commercial Experience

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $175,000 – $280,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
