Description:You will be the Transportation Supervisor (Level 3) for the Production, Planning and Controlling organization. Our team is responsible for coordinating the timely movement of material throughout the facility and to local vendors while maintaining a safe, efficient fleet.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Transportation Supervisor (Level 3) you will be responsible for leading the Transportation team and ensuring seamless material flow.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate inter‑departmental movement of material across the facility and to external vendors.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance of the transportation fleet to ensure safe working conditions.
- Manage and develop a team of 5+ direct reports, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions.
- Delegate assignments and adjust workflows to meet production demands, including work outside normal operating hours.
- Collaborate with production, planning, and control functions to align transportation activities with overall schedule.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:- Must have or be able to obtain a security
clearance
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels
of management, industry peer, direct reports and
internal and external customers
- Experience and understanding for DOT
regulation for vehicles and drivers
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs
- Previous leadership experience
- Understand the management of budgets
Desired Skills:- DOT HazMat certification
- Experience managing a represented workforce
- Experience supporting Material Management and accounting System (MMAS)
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) certification
- Knowledge of industry wide best practices and
process for managing material flow throughout
the entire production supply chain
- Excellent communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
