Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planner (Hardware Rep, Level 3) for the Manufacturing Planning Team. Our team is responsible for coordinating inter‑departmental tooling fabrication activities and optimizing material flow through the supply chain.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner (Hardware Rep, Level 3) you will be responsible for supporting tooling fabrication, expediting material flow, and maintaining production system integrity.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage tooling projects as they move through the fabrication shop.
- Track and control dozens of tools across multiple programs, ensuring schedule adherence.
- Serve as the primary liaison between programs and the shop, confirming delivery dates and providing regular status updates.
- Partner with shop supervisors, frontline personnel, and the tool‑planning, design, and MRP teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that reduce lead time.

Basic Qualifications:• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on influencing cross‑functional teams
• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Desired Skills:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
• Experience in manufacturing
• Experience with material requirements and Shop/Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
• Greenbelt / blackbelt trained / certified
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
• Experience with PLM tools (Windchill) and ERP/MES systems (SAP, Apriso)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
