Paralegal (Contract)

Summary
Are you a detail-oriented legal professional with a passion for technology and a drive to make a meaningful impact? This is a unique opportunity to join a newly formed global frontline legal team supporting commercial legal matters across a dynamic and fast-paced organization. In this role, you will serve as a critical point of contact for incoming legal requests, working closely with paralegals and business partners to triage matters, gather relevant information, analyze applicable legal and compliance considerations, and help develop recommended guidance and solutions. You will play an essential role in keeping legal self-help resources current and contributing to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the broader legal team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an ambiguous environment, is eager to learn, and brings strong organizational and analytical skills to every task.
Job Responsibilities
- Triage incoming commercial legal matters in a shared frontline workspace, routing them to the appropriate internal resources and functions
- Assist and support routine legal processes and standard commercial matters
- Escalate complex legal matters to frontline paralegals for deeper review and resolution
- Assist paralegals with gathering data, analyzing legal and compliance factors, and drafting recommended guidance and solutions for commercial legal matters
- Maintain, update, and organize legal self-help business readiness resources
- Contribute to process improvements and efficient matter-routing workflow
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of experience with legal research tools and document or case management systems, including internal compliance platforms
- 0 to 2 years of experience drafting and reviewing legal documents with accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards
- 0 to 2 years of experience with technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as case management software
- Prior experience supporting technology companies or law firms is strongly preferred
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent training required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a service- and assistance-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks with minimal guidance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and interpret policies and legal documents
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Project and program management capabilities
- Basic knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and the democratic political process
- Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and adopt new tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus

- Pay Range*: $22 - $25
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
