Title: Manager, Business Continuity & Enterprise Risk

About the Role: The Manager, Business Continuity & ERM is responsible for the governance and continuous improvement of Nouryon's enterprise-wide business continuity and risk management program. This individual operates as a program governance leader, reporting to the Senior Director of Business Continuity, ensuring that risk owners across the organization have the frameworks, accountability structures, and reporting mechanisms to manage and mitigate continuity risks independently. The role requires a seasoned leader who can build credibility with senior stakeholders, translate risk concepts for functional audiences, and drive organizational capability over time.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Governance and Oversight
- Own the enterprise business continuity and ERM program calendar, including risk reviews, plan updates, and simulation exercises.
- Establish and maintain program standards, templates, and governance frameworks for use by functional teams across manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and commercial operations.
- Monitor program execution across functions; escalate gaps, overdue actions, and unresolved risks to appropriate leadership.

Functional Engagement and Capability Building
- Partner with Procurement to establish and sustain a supply chain continuity risk assessment process, with particular focus on sole-sourced and single-sourced direct materials.
- Partner with Tolling Management to develop and operationalize a toller governance framework that addresses operational continuity and strategic risk exposure across 100+ tollers.
- Partner with Manufacturing Operations to ensure all sites have documented, current, and tested continuity plans that meet Nouryon's program standards.
- Provide structured advisory support to functional teams, coaching them on risk identification, quantification, mitigation planning, and reporting without owning or executing their work products.

Reporting and Stakeholder Management
- Develop reports to be presented to the Risk Steering Committee on enterprise resilience posture, program status, and open risk items.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ERM framework, supporting Internal Audit and other oversight functions on enterprise risk-related advisory engagements.
- Maintain a consolidated view of enterprise continuity risks and escalate material items to CFO and relevant leadership as appropriate.
