As the Sr. Principal Product Manager for Hardware Strategy, OCI Dedicated Cloud, your primary objective will be to define and drive the commercial and technical hardware strategy required to support OCI’s Dedicated Cloud portfolio. This includes Dedicated Region, Oracle Alloy, Isolated Region, and other customer-specific OCI deployment models.
You will be responsible for shaping the product strategy for Dedicated Cloud infrastructure platforms, including compute, GPU, storage, networking, rack-scale designs, minimum viable deployment footprints, expansion models, lifecycle management, serviceability, supply chain readiness, and commercial packaging. You will work closely with OCI service teams, hardware engineering, capacity planning, data center engineering, networking, security, finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure that hardware capabilities align with customer demand, service roadmap needs, deployment economics, and Oracle’s go-to-market strategy.
This role requires both deep product management discipline and strong technical judgment. You will evaluate a broad range of hardware requirements from customers, field teams, engineering organizations, and executive stakeholders, then determine the right path forward based on business value, technical feasibility, cost, operational complexity, and strategic importance. You will need to understand the dependencies between cloud services and the underlying physical infrastructure, while also applying strong customer empathy and commercial judgment.
A successful candidate will have experience developing product strategy for complex infrastructure, hyperconverged or cloud platforms, defining hardware or platform requirements, influencing cross-functional teams, and operating in a high-growth, technically complex environment. The candidate should be comfortable working with senior executives, engineering leaders, sales teams, and customers, and should be able to translate ambiguous market and customer needs into clear product direction, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
