Lead the capture, analysis, decomposition, allocation, and traceability of complex system and subsystem requirements.

Design, develop, and maintain complex system architectures and SysML models across system and subsystems.

Create, execute, and verify system and subsystem test procedures.

Lead system integration, verification, validation, troubleshooting, and test activities across embedded software, hardware, LRUs, and system-of-systems environments.

Lead Agile development activities by decomposing epics and features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria using Jira.

Plan and execute project work while managing schedules, technical risks, costs, and performance objectives.

Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive program execution in both meetings and lab environments.

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced engineers.

Qualifications you must have:
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English across all levels of an organization (verbal and written).
-
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Degree in Computer Engineering with emphasis on Hardware, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
-
Hands-on experience designing network architecture using physical and virtual networks with VMware or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle) in cloud and hybrid environments.
-
Leadership and mentoring experience with systems engineering teams.
-
Proven track record in capturing customer requirements, operational concept development, requirements decomposition, allocation, deriving and traceability, and verification.
-
Agile experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other Agile leadership roles.
-
Current/Active US security clearance.
-
Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including development of complex SysML models such as activity, state, block diagrams, and use cases using tools like MagicDraw Cameo, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
-
Hands-on experience in using Jama Connect for requirements management, including creating, managing, and tracking requirements.
-
Knowledge of Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Working knowledge of bidding and project/task estimation tools. e.g., Software Evaluation and Estimation of Resources (SEER) products.
-
Competence with processes such as peer review, configuration, and change management.
-
Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions - Identify, assess, and manage technical risks and opportunities to support program execution, system performance, and successful delivery of mission objectives.
