Position Location Onsite – Fullerton, CA
Travel is approximately 20% CONUS and OCONUS.
What You Will Do:

Work in a team environment, receiving inputs from Sentinel management and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and providing guidance and/or direction to managed team members.

Ensure team has the latest procedures and processes to meet program requirements.
-
Be an interface for the team to both internal and external customers to include audits as needed.
-
Coordinate and support hands-on operational Integration and Test at the Fullerton Test Site.
-
Coordinate and support flight tests, training events, and radar modification conducts both CONUS and OCONUS.
-
Provide critical troubleshooting, maintenance and operational support to CONUS and OCONUS radar systems for a variety of customers.

Develop and provide inputs to test plans and procedures for various customers as applicable.

Provide transparent identification and communication of issues to functional leadership and engagement for resources for resolution (Subject Matter Expert support, replacement materials/parts).

Occasional use of simple hand tools (e.g. wrenches, ball allen sets, pinning/depinning tools) and test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, power meter, multimeter) as part of support to managed team.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

5+ years’ experience in System Integration & Test of hardware and software.

5+ years’ experience using technical manuals, interpreting product drawings and/or reading schematics as part of troubleshooting system failures.

5+ years’ experience working with test equipment, e.g. Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Digital Multimeters.
Qualifications We Prefer:

CompTIA A+ certification.

Willingness to travel to support Field Engineering efforts and in support of managed team.

Experience leading a team and working by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and communicating status and support needs to supervisory management.

Experience with radar hardware integration, operation, test and verification.
-
Experience documenting troubleshooting, repair, final test results, laboratory configuration and system testing activities of lab work.

Experience preparing and retaining documentation of laboratory work as well as coordination for quality review (as applicable).

Utilizing engineering knowledge to analyze failure symptoms and employing quality assurance / control methods to determine failure.

In-depth understanding of radar systems operations and/or maintenance, in particular Firefinder or Sentinel radars.

Knowledge of Military protocol to include operational and tactical procedures associated with Air Defense Systems.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
