As a CBRE Plumber, you will coordinate general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and fixing of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout a facility.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
What you’ll do
Repair, install, replace, test, and solve the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
Support colleagues or external workers with projects or equipment installations.
Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
Offer training to additional team members for them to carry out minor plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned.
Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
Follow all activity policies and procedures , always including all HSE-related requirements.
Finish the HSE programs & activities as required , including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish sophisticated assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What you’ll need
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required . Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. and CMMS
