Overview
The
Supervisor of Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring service quality, and managing frontline janitorial staff. This role ensures all facilities are maintained to company and client standards while promoting safety, efficiency, and strong team performance.
Pay: $20.00/hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial operations across assigned site(s)
- Lead, train, and manage janitorial staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
- Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and coordinate ordering as needed
- Address and resolve service issues, client concerns, and employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in onboarding and training new hires
- Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, attendance, and service reports
- Support management with reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–4 years of janitorial or facilities maintenance experience
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (timekeeping systems, email, reporting)
