Job Title: Document Controller
KBR is growing its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for an exciting, high profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The ADNOC PMC project role would be based in Client or Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all controlled company and project documents.
- Ensure proper document numbering, version control, and formatting.
- Receive, register, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing documents.
- Maintain an organized filing system (electronic and physical).
- Ensure all documents are up to date, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Monitor document workflows and ensure approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for document submissions and revisions.
- Archive completed and superseded documents according to company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Generate reports on document status, submissions, and pending approvals.
- Support audits by providing required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree is a MUST.
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in document control or administrative roles.
- Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, oil & gas, or manufacturing is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS).
- Familiarity with document control procedures and standards.
