The Assembly & Test Support Technician provides operational and maintenance support within manufacturing assembly and engine testing areas. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and functional workspaces while assisting with minor maintenance activities to ensure efficient production and testing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Test Area Support
- Support assembly and engine test operations by maintaining work areas, equipment, and surrounding environments.
- Perform specialized cleaning tasks in production areas, including removal of excess materials (e.g., paint overspray and debris).
- Assist in preparing test cells and assembly stations for production readiness.
Maintenance & Equipment Support
- Perform basic maintenance repairs and preventative tasks on equipment as assigned.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or engineering teams.
- Support equipment uptime by ensuring tools and systems remain clean and operational.
Operational Support
- Follow standard work instructions and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Assist operators and technicians with material handling and general support tasks as needed.
- Maintain organization of tools, parts, and consumables within assigned areas.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all site safety requirements, including PPE, hazard controls, and clean work practices.
- Participate in safety audits, job safety analyses (JSA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and report potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized production environment aligned with 5S standards.
- Support waste management, recycling, and material segregation processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and safety.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $20.40 - $24.00
