Description:You will be the Test Engineer Staff for the AMMM Functional Test Engineering Team in Marietta, GA, which is responsible for supporting multiple areas within manufacturing operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Test Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, operating, maintaining, and documenting software and firmware components and computing systems software to meet engineering and manufacturing requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing and revising C-130J aircraft system/component test procedures and providing on-aircraft testing and troubleshooting support.
- Developing test equipment and providing test equipment designs, as well as supporting Test Labs and Component testing within the Labs.
- Creating Labview, C++, & Visual Basic test programs for analyzing & validating the 1553 data bus systems.
- Developing and maintaining production planning (SFM, CAPPS, IMPACTS) and providing Functional Test regression test requirements for aircraft QAR activity.
- Collaborating with systems engineering to ensure that engineering requirements are adequately verified during the production functional test process.

• On-aircraft experience in testing and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and air vehicle systems
Desired Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or equivalent experience
• Knowledge or Experience with C-130J systems, manufacturing and assembly processes
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Professional experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including design engineering, manufacturing planning, scheduling, facilities engineering, and industrial engineering
• Experience working with aircraft wiring diagrams and drawings
• Experience with Systems Engineering and Production Operations to quantify, validate and coordinate requirements
• Experience with writing test documents, test equipment design and applications
• Ability to mentor and teach individuals or small groups
• Knowledge or Experience with Software Programming
• Experience with Capital Planning process and requirements
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Production planning and shop floor manager experience
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
