The Sikorsky Avionics Product Center plays a vital role, focusing on the manufacture, procurement, and assembly of helicopter wire harness, electrical panels and electrical components. We are looking for a passionate and transformative Continuous Improvement Lead to help drive our mission forward.
THE WORK
As a OneLM/CI project lead, you will be instrumental in identifying and implementing initiatives that propel our productivity and quality to new heights. Supporting the Avionics department at the Stratford location, you’ll work with manufacturing operations, quality, engineering and other support functions to collaboratively identify opportunities, develop new technology insertions and deliver on critical needs for the manufacturing floor.
Your role will involve:
• Develop and Maintain visual management system: Working closely with the manufacturing team, identify new opportunities to improve and enhance visual factory on the floor
• Digital/Technology insertion: lead digital transformative projects that reshape the production process and improves the floor efficiencies.
• Leading OneLM initiatives and implantation with the product center
• Identifying Cost Improvements: Work with teams to recognize and prioritize cost-saving opportunities.
• Delivering ‘CI Framework’ Project Outcomes: Lead the successful execution of our CI framework, ensuring project results align with business objectives.
• Executing CI Events: Facilitate events

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Familiar with Lean-Six Sigma Principles and/or holds a Lean‑Six Sigma Green Belt
• Familiar with databases, data mining, and data analytics
Desired Skills:• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills coupled with being a team player
• Strong foundation in lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience facilitating kaizen events and improvement workshops.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Familiar with SAP, Solumina, JIRA, & Tableau Dashboards
• Ability to influence without authority and drive change across all levels.
• Comfort working with data and translating insights into action.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
