Overview
This role ensures the seamless setup, operation, and troubleshooting of IT, and facility systems for meetings and events. The Conference Center Tech serves as the team player and hands-on support to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute the setup, operation, and breakdown for meetings and events.
· Serve as the main technical resource and on-site expert for clients, presenters, and internal stakeholders.
· Ensure all setups meet safety, accessibility, and quality standards.
· Document procedures, event setups, and incident reports accurately and promptly.
· Able to read, understand and write set-ups.
· Able to lift and carry equipment, chairs, tables, ect.
· Uphold a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and responsiveness at all times.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in conference center, hospitality, or event technology support.
· Strong technical proficiency with AV systems (projectors, microphones, soundboards), video conferencing platforms, and basic IT troubleshooting.
· Professional appearance and demeanor; strong client service orientation.
· Physical ability to lift equipment and perform setups.
· Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
· Report to work on scheduled days
