As Senior Director of Facilities, youwill delight our Financial Services client throughthestrategic and operational delivery of JLL'sFacilitiesManagement services across a dynamic Americas real estate portfolio.
You willbe responsible forproviding transformational leadership that fosters an ownership-mindsetculture while developing and empowering our people to deliver outstanding services aligned with our client's desired outcomes.
With your extensive facilities managementexpertiseandbusiness acumen, you will drive operational excellence, managesubstantialbudgets, and serve as a trusted advisor toourclient stakeholders.
This is an onsite role based in Midtown Manhattan withapproximately15-20% travel.
In this role as a Senior Director of Facilities at JLL, you will be a strategic leader on our team, collectively shaping a brighter way our leading financial services client, our employees and our firm.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Portfolioleadershipand service delivery.You'lldrivestrategicand tacticalexcellenceas the senior leader responsible forthedelivery, clientsatisfactionandtransformational initiativeswithinourAmericas facilities management portfolio. Each day brings opportunities to analyze portfolio-wide performance data,identifyoptimization opportunities, and present strategies thatleverageindustry trends and data-driven insights to enhanceclient’sexperience.
Client partnership and relationship building.You'llestablishand maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels, serving as the primary point of escalation for complex operational challenges. Through regular governance business reviews and strategic planning sessions,you'llpresent portfolio analytics, benchmarking insights, and recommendations that reinforce JLL's position as strategic partner of choice.
Team development and cultural transformation.You'llinvest inpeoplecare by creating development and succession plans that strengthen our talent pipeline and promote our "Destination Account" vision. Your leadership fosters a culture of excellence, ownership, and empowerment while leading change initiatives that embed best practices through standardized, programmatic approaches across the portfolio.You'llimplement portfolio transformation programs that equip our people with the training and resources needed for success.
Integration and collaboration.You'llensure seamless integration across all JLL services, coordinating internally to deliver a unifiedOneJLLapproach for our client.You'lllead the One Team collaboration program that includes our client's Workplace teams and Landlords, working together in a client-centric manner to achieve combined success.You'llbuild andmaintainrelationships with key vendors and service providers,negotiatingcontractsandensuringquality servicedelivery thatmeets client expectations. Your collaborative mindsetidentifiesissues early and engages leadership to supporttimelyresolution.
Operational excellence and compliance.You'llestablishenterprise-wide standards and QA/QC processes that enable consistent delivery, scalability, and continuous improvement. Regular site visits allow you to conduct assessments, engage directly with facility operations, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
Performance achievement.You'lldrive achievement of contractual requirements and account goals, including work order management metrics and CPI/KPI targets, whilemaintaininghigh client satisfaction measured through performance indicators and satisfaction surveys.
• Bachelor's degree; Facilities Management,Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of strategic and tactical IFMmulti-regionalportfolio experience for financial services or technology-focused clients, including advanced knowledge ofCREfacility management methodologies, building systems, maintenance processes, and regulatory requirements
•Demonstratedtransformational leadership success inestablishingstandardized processes,resourcealignmentandgovernance frameworksto ensure the delivery of operational excellence in a standardized,consistentandtimelymanner across portfolio operations for client and team success
•Demonstratedsuccess recruiting, developing, andretainingtop talent; creating development plans and fostering an inspiring, empoweringculture
• Executive presence with exceptional communication skills and ability to build trust-based relationships across all stakeholder levels;proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide transformation
• Strong budget development and forecasting abilities; understanding of operational budgeting, cost management, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• High-level performance in vendor management and contract negotiations
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities
•Proficiencyin CMMS platforms, BI/analytics tools, and Microsoft Office applications
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS Engineering, or related field)
• Experience managing globalservice delivery

Estimated compensation for this position:
200,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
