What you´ll do
- The Environmental Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Environmental and Sustainability for the St.
Louise plant.
- Environmental Specialist is the leader and point of contact for internal, external, regulatory audits.
- Report Environmental statistics data to Global SHE on monthly basis
- Prepare and manage the related
documents about the environment in accordance with Henkel global regulations, local regulations and
laws.
- Prepare and send quarterly wastewater reports to MSD.
- Monitor and ensure permit limits are maintained.
- Implement the work environment measurement, the self-inspection of air emission and wastewater
discharge facilities and the emergency training.
- Secure SDS (MSDS) for chemicals used in the laboratory, ensure the appropriateness of chemical
storages, and understand and manage information related to the health, safety, and environment.
- Investigate environmental accidents/incidents using participative root cause analysis techniques and
develop appropriate responses to prevent recurrence.
- Achieve full compliance with regulatory and Henkel Environmental standards by directly supporting
facility staff with policies, procedures, work instructions and training.
- Oversight of Process Safety Management (PSM) management program
- Leverages environmental best practices and manages all related regulatory and compliance issues.
- Acts as Site “Dangerous Goods/Chemicals” Safety Advisor (DGSA)
- Responsible for sustainability roadmap to drive Energy, Water and Waste improvement
