Classification responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analytical testing: raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, effluent water, and enzyme air monitoring
- Calculating and communicating batch adjustments
- Micro testing of in-process materials, finished product, and environmental (i.e. sanitization, water/ air)
- Support of plant operational departments to resolve quality issues and execute trials
- Creating computer data base spread sheets and computer generated graphs and advanced word formatting.
- Utilizing SAP and electronic instrument control systems
- Provide expertise and input to document control process
- Maintaining/implementing, repairing/troubleshooting and calibrating/preventative maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, and scheduling recalibration and service.
- Quality Projects
- Documenting analytical results and developing S.P.C. charts, summaries, and reports.
- Managing product and material retains and standards
- Participate in non-conforming product process: material/finished good control, documentation, closure, etc
- Tracking and ordering lab supplies, preparing reagents, and check solutions
