Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering
About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Lead, you will help lead a team in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
What you'll do:
- Proficient in CL, RPG/RPG IV/RPG Free Format and RPGLE programming
- Strong Analytical and Programmatically skills.
- Knowledgeable in SQL hands-on and RDBMS concepts
- Strong in AS/400 Concepts (DBU, WRKQRY, Sub files, JOBs, JDs and related tasks)
- Strong in Analysis skill - Analyzing existing program and documenting the analysis.
- Should be able to understand the application modules, interfaces, jobs and downstream systems.
- Should be able to review the project requirements understand the Business purpose and build appropriate modules that keeps the application intact.
- Should be able to support the existing application and make bug fixes.
- Should be able to review the code of team members and perform end to end testing.
- Should be able to handle client call and project the teams work efficiently Client handling experience is required for this role.
- De-bugging and troubleshooting in QA testing, UAT and Prod support.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 3-7 years of overall experience including 3 years plus experience in Banking or Financial domain preferably Signature application.
- Follow Quality Control processes according to the Industry Standard practices.
- Take initiatives and work independently to meet organizational priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Liaison with Fiserv clients, third party providers and other Fiserv Business Units to facilitate Project delivery.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of Fiserv products, services, best practices, and company standards.
- Consistently create a positive experience for Fiserv clients and colleagues that builds strong relationships and fosters client loyalty
- Keep current with relevant industry trends and best practices.
