ABM Industries is looking for Electricians to join our Electrical Solutions team in Greensboro, NC. The Electrician is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems.

Pay: $39.00-$42.00/hr
Couple Saturdays a Month, another day off during the week. Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM EST. Schedule could change.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain electrical systems, circuits and equipment.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Reads, interprets, and works from diagrams, blueprints, sketches, repair manuals, and schematics.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
- Possesses knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electrical trade.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in elevated environments.
- This includes tasks that may require being at different heights for extended periods.
- Ladder Climbing: Regular climbing of ladders is a critical part of this position.
- The candidate must be capable of safely ascending and descending ladders of various sizes and types.
- This involves maneuvering scissor lifts, boom lifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3-5 years commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skill in using hand and power tools.
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have either Journeyman's and/or Master's Electricians License
