As an HR Business Partner supporting our Engineering & Technology organization, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping drive talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement across a highly technical workforce. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions, develop future leaders, and deliver HR solutions that support mission-critical programs.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a strategic Human Resources Business Partner supporting Engineering & Technology organizations, you will collaborate with leaders to develop and execute people strategies that strengthen organizational performance, enhance employee engagement, and build future workforce capabilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Engineering & Technology leaders to develop and implement talent, performance, promotion, and workforce strategies aligned with business objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on employee relations matters, organizational effectiveness, and leadership coaching
- Drive initiatives focused on talent development, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, and succession planning
- Collaborate with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent, compensation, learning, and workforce solutions
- Analyze workforce data, trends, and key metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations that support business goals
- Identify workforce risks, capability gaps, and organizational opportunities, developing strategies to address current and future business needs
- Coach leaders on performance management, team effectiveness, and organizational change initiatives
- Help foster a high-performing workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR practices
- Support workforce planning efforts to ensure the organization is positioned to meet evolving business and talent demands

• Experience in HR systems with a solid understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR disciplines, employment and labor laws, and understanding of basic HR philosophies
• Skilled in effectively engaging with employees and leaders at all organizational levels
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship building skills
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel
• Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity, urgency, and confidentiality in all matters
Desired Skills:• Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in various HR competencies
• Experience in employee relations and conducting investigations
• Experience in functional HR such as Compensation, Labor Relations, Staffing, or HRIS
• Familiarity with SAP Human Capital Management system
• Knowledge of Organization Design and Effectiveness

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
