We have an immediate need for a Calibration Lab Technician 2nd Shift (onsite).
What You Will Do:

Perform calibration, verification, and functional testing of mechanical, and measurement equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

Maintain calibration records, certificates, and documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or adjustments as needed.

Use precision measurement tools and laboratory equipment to support production, engineering, and quality teams.

Ensure calibration schedules are met and support audits related to laboratory operations and quality systems.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve calibration processes and operational efficiency.

May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills.

May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications as required for assigned area.
Qualifications You Must Have:

HS Diploma or equivalent
-
Basic understanding of measurement equipment, electronics, or calibration processes.

Ability to read technical procedures, schematics, and documentation.

Ability to work independently as part of a team.
Qualifications we prefer:

In compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, priority consideration is given to candidates who are INTERNAL (and recall) to the Pratt & Whitney IAM Bargaining Unit members of District Lodge 26 and Affiliated Locals 700 and 1746 (Connecticut Operations).

Previous experience in a calibration laboratory, manufacturing, or technical support environment.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong communication and customer support skills.

Technical certifications related to calibration, electronics, or instrumentation.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
