JLL is seeking a motivated Assistant Facilities Manager to join our Facilities Management On Demand (FMOD) team. This flexible casual role supports our national rural and remote site portfolios, delivering facilities management services across diverse property types and multiple IFM Client Account teams.
What You'll Be Doing
Building Strong Relationships
- Support proactive partnerships with occupiers and clients to exceed service delivery expectations
- Assist in managing customer and property services across multiple buildings
Ensuring Compliance and Safety
- Help maintain compliance with Essential Services, BCA, Australian Standards, DDA, OH&S, and Risk Management Policies
- Support annual property inspections and hazard identification audits
- Implement control measures and assist with incident reporting
Coordinating Maintenance Activities
- Assist in scheduling building preventative maintenance programs
- Support third-party supplier relationships, service levels, and compliance
- Coordinate with JLL's Property Service Centre for work requests
- Help manage competitive quotation processes
Managing Budgets and Finances
- Support service contract purchase orders and supplier invoice approvals
- Assist in monitoring monthly FM expenditure against budgets
- Contribute to quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Supporting Projects and Providing Coverage
- Assist with capital improvement project implementation
- Provide relief coverage for Client Account Teams nationally
- After-hours on-call availability for emergency response
- Travel to facilities across Australia as required
What We're Looking For
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, building, or business, OR 3+ years' facilities management experience
- Background working in critical environments and facilities
- Knowledge of OH&S requirements and vendor management
- Understanding of property management technical aspects
