This position is based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX with onsite work Monday-Thursday and remote work on Fridays
Senior Analyst – Analytics @ Toyota Financial Services
Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated Senior Analystsfor various open roles across our analytics teams. The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights.Successful candidates will be curious, resourceful, and take initiative to solve complex problems in order tomake a tangible impact within the organization and grow their careers within Analytics @ TFS.
Become a subject matter expert within your department by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
Pricing Analytics
- The Pricing Analytics team’s work is centered on determining the appropriate interest rates to be paid by customers for our Consumer Finance Retail and Lease products.
- Our team’s work is critical not only in driving TMCC’s business results from a sales, profitability, and risk perspective but also in the impact it has on millions of Americans monthly loan/lease payments. With such a high level of responsibility, our team utilizes both an analytical framework utilizing the latest techniques and technologies in data analytics/science while also leveraging the depth of industry knowledge and expertise throughout TFS.
Sr. Tax Analyst - Data Analysis (DnA)
- The Data Analysis team provides reporting, ad hoc and insight generation/analytics primarily assisting our Contact Center Service Operations, Legal and Compliance, Sales, and other Corporate Functions including Voluntary Protection Products (VPP), Accounting, Risk and Fraud.
- Our goal is to provide a consultative approach to answering business questions, driving efficiency gains and helping the business units to deliver value. The goal is to turn data into actionable insights while enabling the business to be more self sufficient in their data and reporting needs.
- We typically look for candidates with a mix of coding/programming ability along with an ability to analytically answer a business problem while being able to build relationships and influence decisions across the organization.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic).
Professional experience coding in SQL and Python (tested during interviews).
Professional experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
Professional experience with data acquisition, data manipulation, data cleaning.
Professional experienceidentifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Professional experience with statistics and predictive modelling techniques.
Experience withpresenting ideas virtually or in-person to audiences of various sizes.
Experience collaborating effectively with others as well as working independently while in a hybrid work environment.
MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial institutions.
Professional work experience in consumer credit risk, business analytics, finance and/or pricing roles.
