Leverage your experience in mechanical, maintenance, electrical, or HVAC fields and transition into a career in datacenters through the Microsoft Military Datacenter Pathway (MDP) program as a Critical Environment Technician (CET).
This program includes 11 weeks of virtual training, followed by a hands-on, in-person training experience, all designed to prepare you for the opportunity to interview for a full-time CET role at Microsoft.
As part of Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, CETs play a critical role in keeping our datacenters running. This includes supporting maintenance activities, working alongside vendors, ensuring safe operating environments, responding to onsite incidents, and using tools and telemetry to monitor equipment and performance.
Through this program, you’ll gain both the technical knowledge and real-world context needed to confidently step into the role.
